Many many many years ago people have used Amethyst to make goblets. If you didn't want to have a drink, you'd have your Amethyst glass goblet. When they poured a colourless drink into the Amethyst goblet, it looks like red wine. So you could pour colourless water into your drink and it would look like you are drinking red wine. So you drink out of your Amethyst goblet while your mates will be getting really drunk. And everybody will say that Amethyst stops you getting drunk.
But what I do count about Amethyst is, it is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PURPLE GEMSTONE ON THE PLANET.
